At Becket Primary School children invest a lot of time and effort in their art work. It is undertaken as a valuable part of our topic work and we have some very talented artists so come and take a look at our latest projects.
Each child sewed a bear onto a felt square to make a quilt.
Haddi’s Castle. We are learning to add detail to our models and investigating colour mixing.
Year 1
We rolled clay into sausages, and then used it to make African Clay pots.
We then used tools to decorate them with African patterns.
We designed and made our own African animal puppets.

We looked at different artist pictures of flowers and tried to recreate them
Year 2

Year 3 – Cromford Mill Trip (8/7/16)
Mill Workers – weaving, spinning and twisting
We designed and made healthy sandwiches.
We created electrical circuits and made our own lamps.
